Sri Lanka is a beautiful island nation located in the Indian Ocean, south of India. Often called the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean,” Sri Lanka is known for its rich history, diverse culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality. Despite its small size, the country offers a wide variety of natural and cultural attractions.

Sri Lanka has a long and fascinating history that dates back over two thousand years. Ancient cities such as Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, and Sigiriya showcase the country’s advanced civilizations and architectural achievements. Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Buddhism plays a major role in Sri Lankan life, influencing traditions, festivals, and daily practices.

The natural beauty of Sri Lanka is truly remarkable. The country is home to golden beaches, lush rainforests, rolling tea plantations, and abundant wildlife. National parks such as Yala, Udawalawe, and Wilpattu are known for elephants, leopards, and diverse bird species. The hill country, including places like Nuwara Eliya and Ella, offers cool weather and breathtaking scenery.

Itinerary

Arrive to the airport and proceed to Dambulla. 

visit the Dambulla Rock Temple. visit Sigiriya rock fortress.

Dambulla Rock Temple – was built by king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C.  Dambulla is a world heritage site and is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. The caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters.

Overnight stay at the hotel – Dambulla

After b-fast proceed to Kandy En route visit spice garden then proceed to Kandy.

Visit temple of the tooth relic and botanical garden. In the evening witness the cultural dance show.

  Mawanella Spice Garden: A Fragrant Journey Through Nature’s Bounty

Kandy – a lovely exotic city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which retains an aura of grandeur, time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its centre, it is the site of the renowned temple that enshrines the Tooth Relic of the Buddha and the Royal Botanical gardens – home to one of the world’s best collections of Orchids. A cultural sanctuary where many legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive, Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry (items of wood, brass & silver) exquisite silver or gold jewellery and precious gems of many varieties including the world’s best blue and star sapphires. The highlight of the city’s calendar is the Esala Perahera, when a replica of the casket enclosing the Tooth is taken in procession for ten glittering nights in July/August by exotically costumed dancers, drummers and approximately 100 Elephants.

After Breakfast proceed to Bentota.

 Bentota – situated on the south west coast, at the confluence of the sea and the Bentota river, the sun-drenched location and its golden, palm-fringed beaches which border the warm, sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean made it a natural choice for development as the first tourist resort. Today it is known in Sri Lanka’s global tourist markets as a highly attractive holiday resort with a wide and varied choice of distinctive hotels to suit every taste and purse. Bentota has a complete range of tourist facilities, great seafood and very popular water sports centres which provide boating, water skiing, jet skiing, snorkelling and wind surfing which provide boating, water skiing, jet skiing, snorkelling and wind surfing.

Then proceed to Bentota. En Turtle Hatchery Farm in Kosgoda. Overnight stay at -Bentota

Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery: A Sanctuary for Sea Turtles

Step into the remarkable Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a vital conservation center dedicated to protecting Sri Lanka’s endangered sea turtles. Founded to safeguard nesting sites and raise awareness, this sanctuary is home to several turtle species, including the Olive Ridley and Hawksbill turtles. Visitors can witness the heartwarming sight of baby turtles hatching and being gently released into the ocean, a true testament to nature’s resilience. The hatchery also offers educational insights into turtle conservation efforts and the challenges these majestic creatures face. Surrounded by lush coastal beauty, Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery is not just an attraction but a mission-driven haven, inviting all to play a part in protecting marine life.

After b-fast do a Madhu River boat ride. 

Madu River –which flows across Balapitiya (approx 80kms down south from Colombo) is one of the rarely visited and unspoiled attractions any nature lover can find in Sri Lanka. She boasts of having a cluster of 64 small islands scattered along her path and the most of which are uninhabited and covered with mangroves. The smallest islet of the lot is called “Satha Paha Doowa” where there is a tiny shrine with a statue built in respect of the gods of Kataragama (Katharagama). According to folklore this islet had been purchased for five cents but some say the name has derived due to its shape of the five cent coin. Madu is certainly a placid and memorable place of interest to any nature lover who longs to witness mesmerizing landscape of the nature. But over thrilled visitors are forewarned! – Madu River is also a known den for crocodiles.

After breakfast, transfer to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling commercial capital. Check into your hotel and set out for a city tour, visiting landmarks such as the Vibhishana Temple, Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and Galle Face Green. In the evening, embark on a guided shopping tour to explore Colombo’s vibrant markets and chic boutiques. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in Colombo.

Whether you’re savoring local snacks or simply soaking in the ambiance, Galle Face Green is a must-visit destination for relaxation and enjoyment.

If time permits, enjoy a final shopping spree after breakfast. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Sri Lankan adventure.

  • TCS is applicable for packaged tours only. Additional TCS of 5% or 10% calculation, depends on the PAN status against PAN card of primary booking contact guest. In case Indian national primary booking contact submit valid TAN details at the time of booking, no TCS will be charged.
  • Any other meals other than specified above
  • Any other sightseeing other than mentioned in inclusions
  • Any item of personal nature like tips, laundry, telephone calls etc
  • Travel Insurance charges
  • Rates are not valid during Dubai shopping festival,new year, Christmas and trade fairs
  • Entrance tickets to attractions other than mentioned in inclusions or optional tours or wherever specified
  • All hotels charge a refundable security deposit either in cash or credit card at the time of check-in. This is refunded by the hotel provided there are no incidental purchases or damages
  • This security deposit is not included in the package price and must be paid by the guest directly to the hotel when checking in

Payment Policy

  • Payment Policy:
  • 50% of total land package cost shall be paid to initiate a booking if the travel date is more than 30 days from the date of bookings.
  • 50% of total land package cost amount shall be paid before 35 days of the departure date.
  • Any Flight bookings shall be paid 100% in advance.

International Cancellation Policy

  • 1.1 Deposit & Final Payment
  • Bookings made more than 45 days before departure: ₹30,000 per person at booking plus ₹45,000 per person within 7 days.
  • Bookings within 45 days of departure: ₹75,000 per person deposit and full balance at least 21 days before departure.
  • Bookings within 21 days of departure: Full payment (100%) required at booking.
  • Prices are subject to change due to variations in airfare, taxes, fuel surcharges, or exchange rates. Any resulting difference must be settled before departure.
