About The Trip

Get ready to make your dream of going on a road trip in Ladakh come true where one would be experiencing the fusion of thrill, serene beauty and culture of The “Land of High Passes”, as the entire tour is exclusively elected by Holiday With Us outdoor experts. A wonderful drive through Leh-Ladakh, a land covered with snow-capped mountains and the highest motorable passes, makes you feel at the top of the world. The unique thing about the Ladakh terrain is that it has mountains, forests, deserts, lakes, rivers, waterfalls in one beautiful and dynamic geography.

Itinerary

Arrive by flight to Srinagar & transfer to Hotel. Take a Shikara ride for 1 hour (gondola boat), ride across the pristine Dal Lake and enjoy the water-life of Srinagar. Visit the local crafts market and shop and Walnut Wood items. 

We will do local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughal, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating.

Stay overnight at deluxe Houseboat/Hotel.

Our services start from Srinagar. Later, begin your transfer to Kargil by passing through the beautiful Zozi-La Pass.

On the way, you will come across the views of Tiger Hill and other famous Himalayan peaks from the roaring stories of the Kargil War. You can take a small stopover at the Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil war. Reach Kargil by evening and call it a day.

After having a healthy breakfast in the morning, start your journey towards Leh. On the way, visit Basgo Palace and monastery that is perched on a steep hill give an impression of huge anthills emerging from the ground. 

As you pass through the Lamayuru Village to reach the monastery, experience a change in the landscape that appears to have a moon-like surface. Take a small stopover at the Indus Sangam Viewpoint to watch the confluence of Zanskar and Indus Rivers. Visit Magnetic Hill, a road that defies the law of gravity.

You can also enjoy delicious langar at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and know the story behind the construction of this gurudwara by the army.

Learn about Indo-Pak Warriors and martyrs at the world-famous Hall of Fame. Reach Leh and rest for the day. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

After breakfast, head out for sightseeing where you’ll be awestruck by the sight of the Indus & Zanskar River Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill, and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia)

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh – Nubra

After breakfast, we checkout and leave for the Diskit district of Nubra Valley. We cross through Khardung La; world’s highest motorable pass at 18,380 ft. On the way we visit the ancient Diskit monastery which was built in 14th century and is one of the oldest monastery of the Nubra Valley.
Keep your eyes ready for some picturesque view of the sand dunes, vast valleys and the “Two Humped Camels”. 

We end our day with tempting dinner and overnight stay in Nubra valley.

Nubra – Pangong

Today we leave for one of the most popular and beautiful attractions of your trip – Pangong. A major “hot-spot” for many film shoots, “The Pangong Lake” lies on the Indo-China Border. The route is on the picturesque villages of Shey and Gompa. Just spend time walking lakeside soaking in the breathtaking view of the crystal clear water and the majestic mountains and dive into the beauty of mother Earth. Overnight stay and dinner at campsite.

After breakfast, we checkout from the campsite and leave for Leh. On the way we visit the Thiksey monastery and Rancho school. Enjoy the views for some last moments on your second last day of the trip. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for your onward journey. Your journey to mother nature “Leh” also known as “Dard Castle” ends here.

  • Any meals other than specified than those in “Meal Plan”.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as tips, telephone calls, laundry, beverages etc
  • Optional, suggested or unspecified activities.
  • Entrance, guide or camera fee.
  • Medical and travel insurance
  • Any transportation which is not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like Rail and Flight Delays| Roadblocks| Vehicle Malfunctions| Political Disturbances etc.
  • Anything not mentioned under “inclusions”.

Domestic Cancellation Policy

  • Once the booking is done- 20% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 30 days prior to departure- 30% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 15 days prior to departure- 50% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 10 days till the departure- 100% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • No Show No Refund.

Payment Policy

  • Payment Policy:
  • 50% of total land package cost shall be paid to initiate a booking if the travel date is more than 30 days from the date of bookings.
  • 50% of total land package cost amount shall be paid before 35 days of the departure date.
  • Any Flight bookings shall be paid 100% in advance.
