Bir Billing – The Paragliding Capital of India

Bir Billing is a small but famous hill destination located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by lush green valleys, pine forests, and the majestic Dhauladhar mountain range, Bir Billing is best known as India’s top paragliding destination and a paradise for adventure lovers.

Bir is a peaceful village situated at a lower altitude, while Billing lies higher up in the mountains and serves as the paragliding take-off point. The long flight from Billing to Bir offers breathtaking aerial views of valleys, forests, and snow-clad peaks, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for visitors.

Itinerary

Arrive at Delhi Airport/Railway Station drive to Bir Billing. Overnight journey by Cab

After arriving at Bir check in at your booked camps. Later go for paragliding. Reach the Bir Billing paragliding point where you will be briefed about the activity by professionals.

Proceed with an enthralling experience of paragliding and land at the Bir Billing landing site. You can then embark on a mountain bike tour and explore the local market for the next two hours.

Overnight stay at Camps.

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel & drive to Dharamshala. 

Dharamhsala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”. O/N Hotel Dharamshala.

You will be traveling to the beautiful suburb town of McLeod Ganj near Dharamshala.
McLeod Ganj is the spiritual capital of Buddhists and is home to the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Buddhists.

  • Visit St. John Church, which is a marvelous church that stands between the thick deodar forest near McLeod Ganj.
    ● You will be visiting the famous Bhagsunath Temple along with the beautiful Bhagsunath Waterfalls.
    ● Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the serene Dal Lake and the beautiful little hamlet known as the Naddi Village.
    ● visit the Kangra Art Museum and the War Memorial

Overnight stay at Dharamshala hotel.

Wake up early morning and after having breakfast head for Triund Trek. Take a pit stop at Magic View Cafe on your way through Triund and chill around for half an hour.Reach Triund by noon and enjoy the beautiful views of Dhauladhar Ranges. 

check in to the campsite. Dinner and sleep overnight.

After breakfast proceed to came back to Dharamkot base. Later depart to Delhi for your journey onwards. 

The Glorious tour to the Himachal Pradesh comes to an end. In this way your visit to one of the paradise on earth located amidst the lofty Himalayas ends offering your glorious memories to cherish for lifetime.

  • GST 5%
  • Any meals other than specified than those in “Meal Plan”.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as tips, telephone calls, laundry, beverages etc
  • Optional, suggested or unspecified activities.
  • Entrance, guide or camera fee.
  • Medical and travel insurance
  • Any transportation which is not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like Rail and Flight Delays| Roadblocks| Vehicle Malfunctions| Political Disturbances etc.
  • Anything not mentioned under “inclusions”.

Domestic Cancellation Policy

  • Once the booking is done- 20% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 30 days prior to departure- 30% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 15 days prior to departure- 50% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 10 days till the departure- 100% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • No Show No Refund.

Payment Policy

  • Payment Policy:
  • 50% of total land package cost shall be paid to initiate a booking if the travel date is more than 30 days from the date of bookings.
  • 50% of total land package cost amount shall be paid before 35 days of the departure date.
  • Any Flight bookings shall be paid 100% in advance.
