Amritsar, one of India’s most historic cities, is world-famous as the home of the Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib). Rich in spirituality, history, and Punjabi culture, Amritsar offers a deeply moving and vibrant travel experience for pilgrims, families, and cultural travelers.

Itinerary

Meet a representative at a Amritsar where he will give you a quick overview of the tour and then help you with a smooth transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Relax for some time to replenish your energy for sightseeing.

Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

After Breakfast excursion to Khajjiar 24 Kms. from Dalhousie surrounded by thick Deodar forest. Khajjiar is known as Mini – Switzerland.enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding etc. at your own. We visit the Ajith Singh Smarak and Satadhara Sparkling Springs  Driving from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome. Embrace the vast emerald green meadow of Khajjiar with its thick forested slopes of Deodhars, the stupendous mountain views from Lakkar Mandi and the unparalleled beauty of Kalatop and Bakrota Hills.

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel & drive to Dharamshala. 

Dharamshala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”. Visit Cricket Stadium, War Memorial, Church.  O/N Hotel Dharamshala.

You will be traveling to the beautiful suburb town of McLeod Ganj near Dharamshala.
McLeod Ganj is the spiritual capital of Buddhists and is home to the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Buddhists.

  • Visit St. John Church, which is a marvelous church that stands between the thick deodar forest near McLeod Ganj.
    ● You will be visiting the famous Bhagsunath Temple along with the beautiful Bhagsunath Waterfalls.
    ● Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the serene Dal Lake and the beautiful little hamlet known as the Naddi Village.
    ● visit the Kangra Art Museum 

Overnight stay at Dharamshala hotel.

Enjoy morning breakfast at the hotel.

Later proceed for Amritsar by road on arrival checkin at hotel and visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony – Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel.

Overnight at Amritsar.

After breakfast. Start your day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit JallianwalaBagh – where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians.

Later you will be dropped to Airport/railway station for your further journey.

  • Medical and travel insurance
  • Any transportation which is not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like Rail and Flight Delays| Roadblocks| Vehicle Malfunctions| Political Disturbances etc.
  • Anything not mentioned under “inclusions”.

Domestic Cancellation Policy

  • Once the booking is done- 20% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 30 days prior to departure- 30% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 15 days prior to departure- 50% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 10 days till the departure- 100% of package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • No Show No Refund.

Payment Policy

  • Payment Policy:
  • 50% of total land package cost shall be paid to initiate a booking if the travel date is more than 30 days from the date of bookings.
  • 50% of total land package cost amount shall be paid before 35 days of the departure date.
  • Any Flight bookings shall be paid 100% in advance.
